Guest Author

Our class had the opportunity to hear a guest author, Paula Young Shelton, share her book to us today. She is a first grade teacher and the book is about her memories of her family's involvement in Civil Rights.

Valentine's party

We had another awesome party! Thank you parents for all of your hard work.

Buddy Day

The students had fun making Valentine's cards with their buddies today!

Nonfiction writing

The students are collecting research for their nonfiction writing pieces. They will finish their reports during the second week of March.

Science Experiment

The students did an experiment today to find out which solids dissolve in water. We will be learning about mixtures and solutions over the next few weeks.
